What are the types of stem cells?

There are the embryonic type and Adult type. The Embryonic ones are so powerful, so they cannot be controlled and can change to dangerous cells. This is why we use Adult cells that are safe and can be controlled.

Where do you find Adult Stem cells?

Adult cells are present in every tissue of the body, but the main reservoir is bone marrow and adipose tissue (FAT). We prefer fat as our source because they are easier to get by lipoaspiration, and they are richer than bone marrow.

Where do we use stem cells in Aesthetic Medicine and plastic surgery?

1-Fat grafting: where we supercharge harvested fat with cells isolated from your fat.
The result is much higher take off the fat grafted (up to 60%) that last for years. Compared to simple fat transfer, where only 20 to 30 % of fat cells will take (live).
